Meme Addicted Nation
The current world is rapidly modernizing every hour. And the main contribution behind this is the internet. At present all activities are done through the internet. Since the advent of the Internet, people have lost interest in books and are spending extra time on the Internet. Social networks are a big part of the Internet.
It has been around since the advent of the Internet and it is a network system through which people can communicate easily and quickly with people close to them while sitting at home. It is easy to know who is doing and what is doing by using these social networks. That’s why people are wasting most of their time on this social network in their working days without having to bother reading books anymore, and no lessons can be learned from this.
Notable websites in social networks are — Facebook, What’s App, QQ, We Chat, Ozone, Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter, Baidu, Skype, Viber, Line, etc. Through these, people talk to each other, post, like, comment, share, retweet, etc. In this way, they are wasting a large part of their working days.
In the meantime, a new dimension has been added to these social networks, that is a meme. This is a short video/picture/story that is promoted on social media networks with some sarcasm.
Users enjoy watching these later and sharing, liking, and commenting to show off to others. This shows that in the past when social media networks were introduced, the number of users was about a few percent less than the number of current users. This means that the number of users has increased abnormally several times more than before. That is, our future generations are under threat.
Although these memes provide temporary fun, people are increasingly using them on social media in the hope of seeing more memes. By doing so, our daily life, education, career, job, business life is being extensively damaged.
On the other hand, very few of those who are making these memes are making them for free and promoting them on social media. In doing so, they are wasting their creativity.
We know that everything has a limit, just as meme viewing has a limit. I’m not saying it’s a bad habit to look at a meme, it’s fun to look at a meme but it has to be seen within a range and briefly. An excessive meme is a waste of precious time, just as it can lead to many other problems, which are never fixed.
Students in particular need to be aware of these issues first and foremost because now is the right time for them to build their future. Now if they can’t concentrate on their studies and waste more time elsewhere, they don’t know for themselves how much danger they are bringing to their future. And all of us should use everything in moderation, not overuse or abuse anything, otherwise, it is to our own detriment.
NB- It’s an awareness article. Haven’t any intention to harm anyone, so please don’t take it seriously.
